Trampled Under Foot – Siblings Danielle, Kris and Nick Schnebelen grew up with the Blues. Their parents, Bob and Lisa, were active in the thriving Kansas City Blues scene, playing in local bands and competing in the Kansas City Blues Challenge. Bob and Lisa’s band didn’t make it to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis — but their kids did. When TUF arrived in Memphis for the 2008 IBC they were followed by huge, wildly enthusiastic throngs of hometown supporters, eager to cheer for their favorite musical family. And when TUF took First Place in the competition and Nick won the Albert King award for best guitarist, it was a sweet victory for the Schnebelen family and for Kansas City itself. TUF has been on a roll ever since, becoming popular repeat headliners at clubs, festivals and cruises around the world and releasing CDs and a DVD on their own label.

Tõnis Mägi is an Estonian singer and songwriter who has been probably the most influential and remarkable name in the Estonian rock music for the past 40 years. In the years of the Estonian “Singing Revolution” he was one of the most prominent singers with his song “Koit” (Dawn) achieving anthem status. Tõnis Mägi’s music is related to the blues in many ways. In Haapsalu he performes together with a band and brass group.

Vladimir Rusinov on jõuline ning hingestatud kitarrist ja laulja. Peale maineka Venemaa kitarrikonkursi Hendrix Contesti võitu 2002. aastal pühendus Rusinov peamiselt Ameerika lääneranniku bluusile, mängides erinevates Vene jump- ja swing-bluusi bändides. Juba aasta hiljem moodustatud päris oma bändiga pakub Rusinov kuulajaile segu erinevatest bluusistiilidest, vürtsitades seda osavalt swingi, funki, surfi ja souliga. Vladimir on mänginud koos bluusimaailma kuulsustega, nagu Rick Holmström, Enrico Crivellaro, Tad Robinson, Alex Shultz, John Primer,  Lurrie Bell, Eddie C. Campbell, Phil Guy, Vidar Busk, Kid Andersen ja paljud teised.

Vladimir Rusinov & The Jumping Cats were formed in 2003 in Moscow by guitar player Vladimir Rusinov.  Mikhail Belov (bass) and Ksenia Dubrovskaya (drums) form one of the best rhythm-sections in Russia. They add the right groove and swing to the sound of the band. The lineup of the band hasn’t changed since the day it was formed. Jumping Cats is a solid band that has proven that it can can rock small venues, as well as big open-air festivals.
The band has played numerous club gigs and successfully participated in festivals all over Russia and abroad, including Moscow International Blues Festival (Russia), Belgrade Blues Festival 2009 (Serbia), Blues Nights 2009 (Lithuania), Minsk Blues Festival 2009 (Belarus), Neva Delta Blues (St Petersburg), Empty Hills festival and all the festivals organized by the Russian Blues Society (blues.ru). The Jumpin’ cats earned a reputation of a very reliable band, which is why the foreign musicians often choose it as an accompanying band when touring Russia.The band has played together with John Nemeth and JW Jones, Robert Lighthouse and many others.
Vladimir Rusinov is a powerful and soulful guitar player and singer. After winning the Russian Hendrix Contest in 2002 he has shifted to west-coast blues style and spent a lot of time playing jump and swing blues with different bands. Later he started his own project entitled “The Jumping Cats” which delivers a mixture of blues styles spicing it up with swing, funk, surf and soul. Vladimir has shared the stage with such artists as Rick Holmstrom, Enrico Crivellaro, Tad Robinson, Alex Shultz, John Primer, Lurrie Bell, Eddie C. Campbell, Phil Guy, Vidar Busk, Kid Andersen and many others.

Tanel Padar – one of the most talented Estonian musician, who won Eurovision Song Contest in 2001 together with Dave Bentos in actually a bluesboy! He has played music, being a singer and guitarist of Speed Free, Compromise Blue and multiple jazz and blues projects, before he started his hard rock group Tanel Padar & The Sun. At the festival Augustibluus Tanel will share the stage with legendary guitarist Slavka Kobrin, drummer Peeter Jõgioja and keyboard player Harmo Kallaste – the cream of Estonian music!

Fernando Noronha is talented Brazilian singer and guitarist. In 1995 he put together Black Soul. Since then they have released 7 records and performed at main festivals in USA and Europe. They have shared stage with such names as B. B. King and Carlos Santana. Fernando Noronha himself says that his music is foremost influenced by American blues, specially by Albert, King, Freddy King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, T-Bone Walker, Johnny Winter and of course by Jimi Hendrix.

Kaire Vilgats has been trained pop-jazz singing at the Georg Ots Music School in Tallinn. She often supports different pop acts of Estonia as a backing vocalist, for that, Kaire Vilgats took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000 and 2002 and sang backing vocals for the Estonian and Maltese songs, receiving 4th and 2nd place respectively. In 1999, Vilgats was awarded with the 3rd place at the contest for young singers, Kaks Takti Ette, organized by the Estonian Television. The winner of that season was the Estonian rock star Tanel Padar, with Eda-Ines Etti being a runner up. Kaire Vilgats has also performed with the Estonian Police Orchestra.
